Best Place To Buy Whistler Lift Tickets

Skiing and snowboarding may not be cheap hobbies to pick up, but despite the cost of equipment and full-day lift tickets, there are plenty of ways to save money. After all, who wants to pay $200-plus to hit the slopes when they can have the adventure for much less?

Local outdoor shops and ski outfitters are also a good option when looking for free or cheap lift tickets, and some places even offer discounted lift tickets and rentals when buying at the shop. For example, in Utah, Canyon Sports and AJ Motion Sports offer discounts.

Websites such as Liftopia.com and getskitickets.com offer discounts, and you can look up lift tickets based on where you want to go and when. Often rentals and lessons are also listed, and over 250 North American resorts are represented.

For a membership fee, there are ski clubs that offer discounted tickets. Indy Pass is one. Starting at $369, members get passes for two days each at over 120 independent ski areas across the U.S., Canada and Japan. Plus, if you stay a third day you get 25% off the lift ticket.

Mountain Sports Club gives premium members BOGO two-for-one lift tickets plus savings on lodging, travel, shopping and more with personalized daily coupons. This company works in tandem with Indy Pass, and some deals garner memberships for both companies.

Ski With A Friend Tickets are discounted single day lift tickets offering greater savings than the standard advanced lift ticket discount. The discount varies according to the daily rate at each resort.

Buddy Tickets are deeply discounted single day lift tickets with a fixed price for each resort. They offer the same great discounted price each day of the season. Buddy Tickets are a benefit exclusively offered to guests who purchase or renew their season pass in the Spring.

A: Your safety is our priority, and it is possible that we will have to cancel your ticket due to Covid-19. In the event that we make the difficult decision to close a resort or cancel your ticket, we will strive to do so in advance of your visit, and we will issue you a full or partial refund depending on the number of lift ticket days affected. In the event of a resort closure or ticket cancellation, we will make an effort to notify you directly by email. We encourage you to also check the relevant resort website, Facebook page, or Instagram account for notifications. While we will do our best to issue your refund promptly, we cannot guarantee that your refund will be processed within a specified period of time (See terms for full details)

When will lift tickets be limited during the 2022/23 season? Vail Resorts is limiting lift ticket sales throughout the 2022/23 season to prioritize the mountain experience for our guests. Guests are strongly encouraged to secure their lift access in advance.

Getting a lift ticket to Whistler Blackcomb will open up a realm of adventure that is as accessible to the novice as it is challenging to the professional skier. You can purchase lift tickets in advance of your trip by phone or online. You can also purchase them in-resort at the guest relations outlet in Whistler Creekside. Special ski packages are often available depending on the time of year with discounts on lodging and lift ticket combinations.

Whistler, located in British Columbia, offers a full range of lift tickets, ski pass options, and season passes for you to choose from plus you can also ski Whistler on the EPIC Pass, which is a multi-resort / multi-day pass option.

The best advice is to make sure you purchase your lift tickets and passes as soon as possible to ensure you can access the lifts when you want and the passes you purchase now will be cheaper than the window lift ticket prices.

Timing is everything. Like booking a flight, the days you book your ski trip, purchase your lift tickets, and set all your final plans, make a massive difference in cost. This includes the day, month, time of year you plan to go, and the time you make your purchases. Prices rise with the availability of guests. Around the holidays, many people have more flexibility around work schedules, and kids are out of school. This coincides with the average resort opening. Planning a trip between or after the holidays will help you save money on lift tickets. Once the holidays are over, there is only one other significant time to watch for price spikes, and that is around spring break. Prices are hard to beat late into the season after spring break.

Getting the most out of a ski trip does not require being at big-name, leading-size resorts. Many smaller-scale destinations pack the same excitement, beauty, and challenges on their slopes. What most folks find they enjoy the most is fewer crowds, which means no lines. The Colorado Ski Country USA Gems Card is a nifty savings option if you are willing to stick with a select number of smaller resorts such as A-Basin, Cooper, Echo Mountain, Granby Ranch, Powderhorn, and more. The Gems Card offers you the opportunity to get lift tickets at a two-for-one deal, or two tickets at 30 percent off, or choose from one of each option. The only downside is there are blackout dates.

Single-day lift tickets cost more than $200 at major mountains, and annual passes start just shy of $300 for skiing throughout the whole year. So, many snow-loving families will be better off selecting a pass rather than paying individual lift ticket prices, even if they only use it a few times. This is especially true now that several passes have options designed for those who just plan to ski for a few days.

Whistler regularly sends out limited time offers to people who've bought multi-day passes before. The first offer they sent me for upcoming 2014-15 season was in August and provided for reduced room rate and lift tickets if I booked by the end of September. Whistler is in the business of selling hotel rooms. If business is down they increase the number and value of promotions to past guests.

We purchased our lift tickets prior to 31 August and saved quite a bit. As we cross over between the holiday period and mid-wineter, I think we saved between 25-40% of the window cost and about 15-25% on the usual online cost.

I don't know if they would give you any discount if snowfall is below average, but your travel insurance usually covers lift closures & piste closures if snowfall is poor. From memory, the clause in our insurance says if more than 60% of the runs are closed, they will reimburse our tickets and ski hire.

I would definitely suggest booking the lift tickets before November 15th to gaurantee you low rates. Yes, you will always save some money by booking them online before you arrive, rather than at the ticket booth window but not as much as the 'Early Booking' pricing. It is a risk hoping that there will be specials closer to the time as the resort is already seeing lots of winter bookings.

The amount of money you will save all depends on how many days you want to ski and the specific dates in February but regardless, it will be better than the normal pricing. I am sure you have looked at the website already for pricing but just in case... -and-passes/lift-tickets/winter-tickets.

Bypass the ticket window lines and head over to one of our three convenient pick-up locations. When you book your accommodation on alluraDirect, you can pre-order your discount Whistler lift tickets to save money and ski time (which is worth money).

Simply decide what's most convenient on your pick-up day. Your Whistler lift tickets can be printed out wherever you choose to pick them up. Just present your order confirmation email and you'll have your tickets in hand as quickly as the printer can spit them out!

And that $275 ticket wasn't even the most expensive of the season. The small, independent Arizona Snowbowl, of all places, was the first resort to breach the $300 lift ticket mark this season on a snowy Saturday this year.

Thrifty Tip: If you skip one of these mega passes, always buy your lift tickets online for a discount. Buying a ticket at the window can be as much as 15% more expensive. Also be sure to check for discounts at Liftopia.com.

When you purchase a lift ticket to Whistler Blackcomb you immediately gain access to two world-class mountains and their vast terrain. Lift tickets can be purchased the day of your trip or well in advance. There are several ways to secure your lift ticket including online, by phone or in person. When you pre-order you tickets with Whistler Blackcomb there's even an option to have them waiting for you in room at Lodging Ovations. Lodging Ovations often offers stay and play packages that offer you discounted rates when you book your accommodations and tickets together.

The best way to access the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is through the Whistler Village Gondola or through the chairlifts, Emerald, Red, Franz's, and Harmony lifts plus the alpine T-bars. On Blackcomb access can be done through Solar Coaster, Catskinner, Jersey Cream and 7th Heaven lifts.
